Discussion at the European Cities for Sustainable Finances Group

Our team participated in a discussion on Financial Sustainability and Resilience with Finance Directors from major European local governments. This event was part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the European Cities for Sustainable Finances Group, supported by KDZ - Centre for Public Administration Research.

We presented the Financial Resilience Toolkit, developed based on the theoretical model by Carmela Barbera, Martin Jones, Sanja Korac, Iris Saliterer, and Ileana Steccolini, further co-produced with UK local authorities by André Lino, Bernard Kofi Dom, CIMA, and CIPFA.

The event, hosted in Hamburg, provided an excellent platform for engaging discussions on diverse values in public administration and local government accounts. This gathering marks a promising start for future collaborations in the field of financial sustainability and resilience in European local governments.
